Shake It Baby!

Last night we had on one of the iTunes radio stations and "Twist 'n Shout" started playing. I grabbed Jack and started singing and dancing. He obliged and sang "Shake it baby" which was pretty cute.

When Jack was just a baby, we kind of decided that we would try to keep the baby music at bay and just see if he would like grown up music (he gets his nursery rhymes at Grandma and Grandpa's house) so we wouldn't go crazy listening to Barney or something. It's worked out pretty well. Though he does still enjoy The Limelighters, he also sings and dances to select songs by Crosby, Stills, Nash and Young, Frank Sinatra, Patsy Cline, Jack Johnson, Bobby McFerrin, Jason Mraz, CCR and, his most recent favorite, Bob Marley! It's funny to hear him sing "No Woman, No Cry"! I might have to start adding a few Dave Matthews songs in the mix :-)
