The Park

Jack loves to go to the park. I don't think he always enjoys himself while he's there, but the idea of going to the park is usually enough to get him out of a funk if need be. He gets excited to go on the slides, but he likes the big kid slides much better than the toddler slides. This isn't a problem when the park isn't busy, but if there are a lot of kids there it's tough. They usually get in his way and he ends up getting hurt or upset and we have to go home. But he also likes the rest of the park too. He sees other kids playing on the monkey bars and climbing the ladders and wants to check it all out for himself. There's also lots of other stuff to do besides play on the playground equipment. He likes to check out the people playing tennis, basketball, baseball and the boys falling down in the skate park. The large areas of grass are also a fun place to run around and go timber so we can lay there and watch the clouds in the sky.
