The Nature Center

About 3 weeks ago, we decided to take a walk around the nature center. We were greeted by this dinosaur when we got there, so that started things off well — Jack likes dinosaurs! We started walking down a path and eventually ended up getting to a park that is on the nature center paths. There were a few other little boys there already playing. Jack did well and had a fun time. It started getting close to lunch time so we packed up, left the park and got back onto the paths. Unfortunately, the path we followed with an arrow that said "LOOP" was not really the loop. We ended up out on the street and had to decide if we wanted to take the really long walk that we knew would get us back, or if we wanted to go back into the nature center paths and hope we didn't find ourselves out on the street somewhere else. We chose the long walk. It really sucked! We weren't dressed properly for as much exercise and sun as we got that day. We figured it would be a leisurely stroll in the shade of all the trees, not a brisk walk in the almost noontime sun...
