Singing

Jack has recently started singing along with songs. Whether it be on the radio or TV, one of his toys playing music or somebody else singing, he blurts out as many words as he can! He's always been a singer but would never sing with anything — it always had to be by himself. I haven't been able to get video evidence yet but I did get this cute one of him reciting part of the new Noggin' rhyming song! He heard the song once and here's what he retained of his favorite part — "Blue, shoe, two. I can't stop myself. I gotta rhyme!" There's also a "do" and a "poo" in the actual line, but I think this is pretty good...

He's heard it a few times since then and gets excited because he knows more and more of the words each time it plays.

The Backyardigans (bedtime cartoon) is also extra fun now. He knows the theme song and has recently started trying to replicate parts of the dance that goes along with it :-) I'd love to get that on video on of these times!
