Jack's Teeth

When Jack first started getting his teeth, I was always paying attention to his mouth. If he was crabby, I would check his mouth for a new tooth. If he felt warm, I would check his mouth for a new tooth. I guess that stopped after his 1-year-old molars all came in. Since I knew it would be awhile before his 2-year-old molars started cutting, teeth just kind of left my mind.

Then the first molar came in after a few overly-drooly naps and overnights this past September. I noticed molar number two just starting to cut through during a visit to the doctor last month when Jack opened his mouth to say "ahhhhh." Then today, when I was helping Jack get the last of his applesauce out of the cup, I noticed that all of his molars were in! Maybe they came in a couple of weeks ago when he had a couple of tantrums (not normal for Jack). I can't believe they showed up without me knowing. Don't they know I'm supposed to write the dates in a book?
